    that's what i said. but you seemed to take a step back and argue their logic with your interpretation of the facts. in order to argue somebody's logic, you must use their interpretation of the facts.

    I think the rights of the woman trump the rights of other people to tell her what to do. It's not whether I agree with abortion or not, because I don't. As I said, the legislative and spiritual ideals should be separate, and that's why my feelings on the two are, as well, separate. I can't say that what I feel is right or wrong is something I must force upon everyone.

    Certainly they trump the rights of someone else to tell her what to do. I would not try to argue otherwise. The issue for me is the rights of the unborn baby verses the rights of the mother. To me the baby's right to live trumps the right of the mother to decide to have an abortion.

    This is all about protecting the rights of the helpless to me. When you do that you are being consistent with other aspects of our laws and not imposing morality. We have laws against murder and rape. I certainly have no problem with those laws and do not see them as imposing my morality on someone else.

    you got some pretty hardline beliefs there. do you live by them or just want others to? i can't believe you've never used a condom or any other birth control method.

    I wouldn't get snipped. I would be giving up too much based on my beliefs. You on the other hand would be giving up nothing. Go ahead and do it.

    giving up too much? i don't understand, you don't seem to value your sperm and that's all you'd be giving up (according to your logic from above).

    personally, i don't buy your logic, but if it works for your, go for it.
