You aren't taking away their ability to produce children. You are taking away their ability to produce feti (sp?). Unless you are a hyprocrite you cannot give any bearing to what the feti will become in the future.

so if you use a condom, you should just go ahead and get snipped, right? afterall, you're not stopping yourself from having children, just creating sperm.

 

If you don't value a fetus then the answer is yes, by all means, get snipped.
