    Yeah, like colonising everywhere wasnt enough. My old man is English, grandfather is/was South African. Not fun growing up in Ireland with your English dad cheering/coaching from the sidelines. Im just glad i wasnt raised up north.

    Ouch. Yeah, I bet. My (adopted) uncle is a flaming redheaded Irishman. My great-grandmother did not appreciate him at all. From what I've been told, she was pretty much hounding him from the day he was born until the day she died.

    My dad kinda lucked out as he only had my grandma to deal with. I could have never been if my moms dad hadnt died so young.

    But they're always telling me about my gran banging on the ceiling with a broom to let my mom know it was time to kick him out.

    Her sister married a Limey too, so she adjusted quickly. I think dads the favorite son-in-law now to be honest. All the others have drinking problems.

    So did I. Got home just before 9:00 and was looking forward to watching it. I turned on the tv just in time to see the previews for next week. :banginghe
