    I watched this show for the first time last week, back to back episode repeats, While I found it entertaining enough to watch when the new season starts, I do have one question.

    Is the premise of the show that the House dude solves all the odd ball cases with out side the box medical thinking? and if so have the producers/writers been able to successfully pull this off with out it seeming to be too far fetched?

    Sometimes, but not always. It's not always something exotic or weird that ends up being the culprit. Sometimes it's something common that is masked or altered by an underlying condition, or is otherwise altered to look like something else. In one episode, the patient had rabies. In another, she had Lyme disease from a tick. Patients lying to House and his team also tends to lead them to dead ends occasionally.

    As far as I'm concerned, they have. I've never watched an episode and thought, "Oh, come on. That can't happen."
