    My wife loves that show. She is a nurse and gets into the storyline. I think it is pretty repetitive but House himself is a cool character the way he is so rude to everyone.

    I don't really like how rude he is, but now that I've watched it a few times I understand the reasoning behind it. He's in constant pain from his leg, but I think more than that he's frustrated with hospital politics, and even more so with patients who lie to him.

    He is usually rude to someone who deserves it. It is kind of funny how he just tells it how it is to people rather than coddling them as you expect a doctor on a TV show to do.

    He's also supposedly the best at what he does. So, he can be a total ass and get away with it.
