Anyone know this area? It seems very nice, but also on the edge of the residential area. Crime reports are similar to myers park, no sex offenders at all (28207 zip, several of them in 28209...). My current place is still appreciating, I worry that this place is capped out. There are houses 50% more expensive on the same street already...and being 5 minutes from uptown with a frontyard that's essentally a huge park is only going to get more valuable I'd think...

Being on a hill overlooking a fantastic park (tennis courts, basketball, baseball, kids playground) would ROCK, kids could run from the the house to the park and never leave my sight while I sit on the porch, and the house is fantastic. And the schools are even better - Eastover Elementary rocks, then the same MS and HS as my current house: Alexander Graham and Myers Park High.

I have done 3 projects in that area over the past couple years. The smallest house was 8000 sq ft. Seems a few people have it in their mind to rip down what is there and build something new and bigger.
