    are houses that cheap to rent/buy down there?



    wow, what a difference to up here. that would be like $1,800-2,200 up here.

    Yes. I want to cry sometimes when I think about the places my bro and sis have gone through in their 20 years in NC. Nice. And cheap.

    I actually know people that paid 3 times the price of that crib for a studio apt half the size. DC and/or NoVa. :banginghe

    weird, in western PA you can get a house for $30,000 that would go for $200,000 or more here.

    I just sold my house in Eastern PA for more than double what I paid for it only 5 years earlier. With all the New Yorkers and New Jersey assho... I mean people moving into the area, it's ridiculous.
