If y'all remember it was Shinn that fired Harter on his birthday and I think while he was at his mothers funeral.

Hell just froze over, as I am in full & total agreement with Sadic.

Silas is class, loves Charlotte, and in my opinion, is great for growing young talent. He took his time with Baron, and really helped ERob get a major $ contract - but using him in the right situations at the right time. Same for developing Brad Miller. Look at Moiso in the playoffs - nice "coming out" party.

He'd be a perfect fit for an expansion team - and could get the most out of the "castoff" blend. He was a monster rebounder with Boston, but I never realized how friggin' huge he was until we had dinner one night at the Palm at an adjoining table. His nickname should have been "eclipse". Cowens was taller, but not that wide (and the only Semenhole worth a darn in the NBA)...

dick harter is a damn good basketball coach- its a shame shinn did what he did.

how about shinn not giving dave cowens a raise- after back to back 50 win seasons, cowens was the lowest paid coach in the league and shinn wouldnt entertain any new contract talks.

The Hornets are going to have to survive on gimmicks in NO. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Charles Barkley isn't considered for the job. That would put butts in the seats for one or two years. Then they would move on to the next gimmick.
