i post over there and there's really only a few people that like the move. most of them are saying things like "i'll support the team anyway".

horrible move. makes no sense. well, unless you're shinn... then it makes cents. he's a hometown guy. they're trying to fill seats. i guess they figure they can get college basketball fans in by hiring an ex UNO coach (i think that's where he coached). "he'll sell tickets" is what shinn says. i don't think he meant it literally, but who knows -- wouldn't put it past them to try to negotiate a deal where he has to work the concession stand during time-outs...

i'm a hornets fan, but i don't live in new orleans so if this team goes to shit, i don't have to keep following them. :) i'm gonna see how silas does in cleveland and see what kind of team the bobcats end up being. memphis also intrigues me and if carlisle ends up with the clippers, i'd be interested to see them... so many choices! i feel like an NBA coach. where's my $4.8 million!?

As part of Stern's wealth re-distribution program, your "cut" is $.00045.

After expenses were applied, you now owe me $26 million.

Send the reparations (oil is acceptable), or face being added as an Assistant Coach to the Maverick's staff.

    Your choice.

Worse than dumping Phil Jackson for Tim Floyd? I don't think so.

Bad move by Shinn, but what else is new. He probably saved himself $4.8 million by not rehiring Silas. That's how he sees things.

I was looking at Tim Floyds contract over at ESPN and look who he is considering as a ass. coach

Floyd, who was a guest Tuesday on the The Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio, said he has talked to and is considering hiring former Iowa State coach Larry Eustachy as an assistant.

Eustachy resigned last month after publication of photographs showing his partying at an apartment in Columbia, Mo., after Iowa State's Jan. 21 loss. The photos, printed in The Des Moines Register, were taken by a University of Missouri student. The photos show Eustachy holding a can of beer, kissing young women on the cheek and being kissed by them.

He should get along with Shinn real well, they both like to get women drunk :D
