So I was watching the Hornets play last night and I noticed that Rozier was having what I thought was a decent night while the team was losing. Then it got to the end of the 3rd quarter and they were still losing and mostly by double digits. I checked the stats and Rozier had logged 30 minutes of playing time. His scoring was in double digits and he had a few assists, but the stat that jumped off the screen to me was...
he did not have one single foul called against him. 30 minutes of 10 big dudes running around on not a huge space and he had no contact with any opposing player. Maybe the 3 refs just didn't didn't notice any of his contact, but I doubt it. There was a lot of fouls last night. Plumlee even fouled out and Jalen McDanields had 3 fouls in his first 7 minutes.
How does a pro NBA player manage to play 30 minutes without at least one foul? I think the answer is simple. No D was played by Rozier or a few others last night. The Cavs shot over or at 53% for the game which took 2 OTs. From the 4th quarter on Rozier commited 4 fouls.
It didn't matter because they were blown out in the second OT.
The Hornets are now at 4-13.

 

oh is that where he ended up? he played with okc the last couple years. they've had so many people moving thru i kinda forgot about him. yeah, he's pretty solid for a young kid.

Hayward is the joke that stopped being funny several injuries ago.
If they hadn't have overpaid him to get him to come to a small market team he would have already been traded for a bag of peanuts and an RC Cola.
Jordan is probably steaming over this guy and his wife. She is not doing Hayward any favors.
The dude is and his family are set for generations to come. Just retire and get away from the game is the only way to get past this.

The Celtics have 19 3s after 3 quarters. Yes it's gotten worse for the Hornets.
The Celtics end up with 24 3s while winning the game by 35.

 

The Hornets are now 7-19 and playing their way into a good draft spot. Trouble is their draft choices usually suck.
Their current .269 winning percentage is only better than Detroit and Orlando's .259.
