i'm on league pass. finally dumped directv and got league pass explicitly streaming. the apple tv app used to have really bad video quality but this year it's a new app and it's way better. the problem with the video wasn't really rez, it was the frame rate -- it felt off. the basketball would stutter when they'd pass it and it was really hard to watch. i don't get any commercials this way, too. but i do get loads of "game highlights" instead which are just as annoying.

Yeah, it's early but they look half decent.

I dumped cable and never had a dish. Going 100% streaming and I'm enjoying the $100+ a month savings. Sometimes finding a work-around for some viewing choices is required.
I use https://www.stream2watch.is/ , but would probably recommend a vpn.

so many games being postponed now... i suspect they are just cancelled. there'll be way too many to try to play. they'll just do what they did last year and go with win% to determine how things unfold. maybe have a fan-less all star break and go to a bubble afterwards. that's the only way to actually ensure you don't have a team drop playoff games due to covid. the bubble actually worked really, really well.

The rookie had his best overall game tonight.
    27 pts.
    9 assists
    4 steals
    5 rebounds
    1 TO
Played his most minutes this season I believe with 31 minutes.
Excellent game rook against a team with a winning record.

I'm not really fanatical about anything, but follow the Hornets because they are local.
Getting a chance to see games online does allow me the opportunity to hear home team announcers from various teams.
I can say after hearing those and some ESPN folks that the Hornet announcers are top notch and enjoyable.
Eric Collins and Dale Curry are phenomenal.

yeah, league pass lets me sample all sorts of home announcers. some are pretty trash. tommy heinsohn was the absolute worst in terms of pure homerism. but i guess some teams like having that guy who routes for the team along with the fans.

i'm just waiting for marv alber to finally retire. dude's an embarassment. constantly wrong with his calls. his partner just has to sit there and pretend he didn't just say it was a foul on a dude who's not in the game.

I just realize I misspelled Dell Curry's name. Sorry Dell.
