Horn wants Mora fined for phone

SAN ANTONIO - Two years after he was fined $30,000 by the NFL for making a choreographed cell phone call to celebrate a touchdown, Joe Horn said Wednesday that Falcons coach Jim Mora should be fined for using a cell phone during his team's loss at Tampa Bay.
Mora was seen making a call during overtime Saturday as he and other team officials tried to determine what a tie would do to Atlanta's playoff hopes. Atlanta punted late in overtime, and Tampa Bay drove to a winning field goal that eliminated the Falcons from the playoffs.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Wednesday that the use of cell phones on the sidelines is prohibited, and that Mora's actions are under review.

I don't like Horn, but I don't think even Horn "REALLY" called anyone, just acted like it. I could be wrong, though.

i dont think he actually made a phone call...if you watch the way horn dialed, it looked pretty haphazard....i dunno...Horn's deal was nothing compared to a head coach on a cell phone in an overtime game with playoff implications.

You'd think the mexican coaching staff would have had done the research and knew all the implications like a tie/win/postseason scenerios before the game even started. Much less, before ot.

 

Mora was phoning in another vote for Vick to the pro bowl and as MVP after all he is the best player in the NFL and should take the birds deep into the play...uh maybe not.
