I do so love maters. Mmmmmmmmm.

What brand does everyone like best? I would appreciate a good mater type thread explaining each type. I get confused when I start going to grow them.

    Betterboys?
    Earlygirls? (is that right)?
What other types are the best?

Haven't had a BAD one yet. I did like it a couple times when I grew the orange ones. Less acid. But my kids didn't like the color, said it just wasn't right.
    I dont like cherry tomatoes.
Usually buy Better Boy and Early girl. Sometimes Beefsteaks

NOPE, I think they were saying the ones that are trucked in to the supermarkets, bad no matter WHERE they come from. I think 90% or more of all your tomaoto products come from CA. In fact TONS AND TONS of produce comes from CA. And dairy product, etc etc. You know Hasbeen, most people don't think of CA as the San Joaquin valley! But WE know better!

I'm having a mater RIGHT now, that's so sweet I can understand why they call it a fruit.

Mmmmmm mater biscuits. I have one brother and a sister who used to put mater on a biscuit before dinner, let it sit with salt and pepper and have it for desert.
