I just found this and was apalled!!!

Notice the thread title... "We" don't eat nasty ass grocery tomatoes unless it's February and our toes are just fucking itchin for a mater sammy. And even then... the Dooks and SP have to cover up the shitty sponge-like taste of "your" "fresh shipped" tomatoes.

A few weeks back, an 18 wheeler turned over on 321... maters were ALL OVER THE PLACE! I just drove up on it and thought it was god saying, "HEre's you your dream come true." EMS was handing out boxes of them. When I got home and ate one... I threw it right back at god and said, "Thanks, but I'll wait 'till Mr. Lineberger has his ready in June!"

Tomatoes are serious talk... California tomatoes? Shipped? Yyyyuck! I take offense! This is war!

ok J/K, but don't mess around with my fruit.

    :agreed:
NOTHING you buy in the store comes close.

Mater sandwich - breakfast - lunch - dinner

    Especially in THIS weather.
And a homegrown California mater is just as good as a homegrown Southern mater.
