HOLY SHIT

i just happened to have tivo'd the game. i had only watched a bit of it then decided to watch the laker's game instead... checked out the espn page to check scores and decided i had to watch it.

holy shit is right.

artest was hit with a cup of beer. that's what set him off. and he went after the wrong guy. then stephen jackson went after ANOTHER guy who was trying to get artest off the first guy. meanwhile, the guy who threw the deadly liquid was wrapping up artest -- then decided to try to pop him in the face from behind. he subsequently got popped a couple times himself.

a couple other guys met up with artest infront the pacers bench after artest was returned to the court. one made the mistake of flashing an aggressive stance for an instance (got up on his toes and maybe balled his fists, tho he didn't raise his hands at all) and artest clocked him. his friend then bowled inneffectively into artest. jermaine o'neal then sucker punched one of these guys as they were being restrained (and picked up off the floor i think).


the espn team were real assholes about this. calling the fans a disgrace. ONE fan was an idiot and then artest and jackson went into the stands and started PUNCHING PEOPLE at near random. other players entered the stands as peace makers and others as antagonists. other fans then responded with grabbing, punching, throwing popcorn and beer at the fans. a chair even. but to call the fans a disgrace without calling the players a disgrace is, well, disgraceful.

 

You must not remember Detroit fans damn near burning the city down after they won the Finals back in the mid 80's.

 

I thought the same of the espn folks. It was like the players have so much anger built up that it is hard to control. Artest is an instigator he pushed Wallace to get him to react and then walked away. He was lying on the the bench or press row like a total jackass. The first guy he threw down is now thinking MONEY. The guy that Artest hit is thinking big time money if not from Artest the from O'Neal who clocked him as he was trying to get back up. Listening to Jim gray he sounding like he was about to cry and still out of breath. I guess Artest can now take time off for his new album.

 

WRONG.The bitch ass fan tossing the cup can be charged with assualt.He got what he deserved.Toss a cup in my face Im going after your ass.Stupid ************.Artest is what 6'8 all muscle??? He sees him coming and stands their laughing...RUN DUMBASS RUN.He got his ass whipped it was funny.As far as the kids crying.Have you been to Detroit?? Them kids have seen a lot worst than that.I LOVED IT...The fan who got hit by O'Neal..he got clocked :xyzthumbs

Hey maybe somebody needs to toss a cup in the Panthers face..maybe they will start winning???

 

and lets not pretend we are shocked..lets remember this goes on in the NHL and has for years..fans getting their asses kicked.

 

The fans on the court got what they deserved.Artest was surrounded by 3 or 4 drunk fans...SELF DEFENSE my friend..Stay your bitch ass in the stands

 

Don't walk into my work place. We have a sign outside that says appointments only. So you walk and get your ass beat and that is OK?

 

Could've been avoided. NBA is nothing but a bunch of punk-ass thugs.

 

wow..i just saw the fight. not even sure where to begin. The fan on the court that got punched by artest deserved it.

 

Hell yeah. Fans can never go out on the court (just like players should never be out in the stands). But, after an all out brawl, any fans going on the court and walking up to players need to get their shit kicked in. Thats just stupid.
