Duke's got depth this year. I still think Dockery will start at PG at least at the beginning of the year. Maybe Paulus comes in if he is doing outstanding but I bet the senior starts out starting. Duke's second string is Demarcus Nelson, Greg Paulus, Martynas Pocius, Eric Boateng, and Jamal Boykin. That would be the starting lineup for most teams this year in the ACC. And the starting lineup being Shelden Williams, Josh McRoberts, Lee Melchionni, JJ, and Sean Dockery. Depending on how well the freshman class does I can see Melchionni and Dockery going to the bench and playing key roles off of that. I'm not gonna lie and say anything less than a national championship. Everyone was saying the same thing about UNC and how much talent they have last year, and they delivered. As long as we deliver then I think it will be fair to talk a little junk :bananalam . I really can't argue that UNC doesn't have the best incoming class in 2006 at all, cause there class is sick, but what happened to UNC being able to pull out an NCAA tournament birth even though they had not so talented teams. A lot of people have already written them off for the NIT or worse. For some reason I think they will finish with 18 wins for the entire year. The ACC is weak this year so they should do a little better than a rebuilding team would do most years. Clemson doesn't look that bad this year though, this could be the year they win in the Dean Dome.

Good post about dook, I do look for Paulus to step in at some point this year like you said, unless Dockery just end up lights out, which I doubt.

Nelson will start in place of Melchionni.

Well I'm sorry I dont spend all of my time masturbating over recruits the way you do. I dont have full access to TheDevilsDen.com, so all I had to go on was the listing under prospects. He was rated as low for Duke, and Medium for UNC, so I assumed he never really had that much interest in comming here. I never said Duke didnt want him, I knew that, I thought he didnt want to go here.

Nelson kinda reminds me of a Duhon type player except he didn't have the hype that Duhon had coming out of high school. He still scares the crap out of me when he gets the ball though. Something Duhon never did when he was a senior. It'll be interesting to see how Duke's great freshman class this year will do against UNC's freshman class of next year. Best rivalry in sports
