    Sweet irony.

Just because Peppers isn't running around head butting people doesn't mean he's not a passionate player. There's the no tell-tale sign that says "THAT GUY'S PLAYING WITH PASSION" because humans deal with emotion differently. Someone like Marvin Harrison doesn't go into frenzies after he makes a play, and doesn't go into tirades when he doesn't, but I don't think anyone would accuse him of not playing passionately. Some players can play at their peak with internally generated emotion. But I'll agree with you that a lack of passion equates a would-of could-of career.

Boo-ya, I agree with you that everybody deals with their emotions differently. And perhaps that is one of the reasons that he comes across as a non-aggessive football player. But I based my opinion on what I have seen for a number of years and seperate conversations with two of his now ex-teammates. I'm not saying the guy is not talented. But what is worse? A guy with limited talent busting his ass at every opportunity or a guy with immense talent, looked upon as a leader and gives just enough when he wants to. A guy that can make the worst OL look like an all pro or make an all pro look like a rookie. You never know what you're going to get.

The part about the Dali Lama was a quote from one of them.

Lets just say it, we suck, we're not gonna have a winning season, Delhommes out for the season, Peppers and the rest of the D-Line wont do shit, and it will probaly be another 20 years before we actually go to another super bowl.
