Not very excited by this year's crop so far. Not that it's been great lately, but for 3 years I had the LOTR movies to look forward to.

The big blockbusters, I guess, are supposed to be King Kong, Harry Potter, and Narnia: L,W&W. Of those three, I'll probably see King Kong, but only after I wait a week or two for the non-fanboys to comment on it. Harry Potter bores me to tears (what is the fascination? I just dont get it), and even though I liked the Narnia books as a kid, it's going to be more Harry Potter than LOTR.

Only thing I'm itching to see is Syriana - George Clooney's political thriller. Havent heard much buzz about it at all, but it's opening on Dec 9th, and what I have read is really, really positive. Should be a damn good flick.

Only other thing coming out soon that I might see is the Matador, if word of mouth is good.

This is my favorite time of the year besides early summer to go to the theater. Just kind of dissapointed with the prospects this year.

I am looking forward to going to see Harry Potter and Narnia. Also that sci fi thingy that is coming out with that hot chick. I forget her name Charlie something or other.. But that looks good. Forgot that name of it?

Saw Harry Potter -- it wasn't bad. I'll probably see it again.

I'm looking forward to seeing Narnia, and Syriana intrigues me. I'll likely go see that, too.

I'll probably buckle and see Narnia. Especially when I'm off for a few days with nuthin to do.

Saw the preview for The Ice Harvest last night. Added it to my probably see list. Cusack and Billy Bob. Should be funny.

Syriana is getting some of the best reviews of the year, even though it was made by a SOCIALIST.

Who also did "Traffic", if I'm not mistaken. If Syriana is in the same stratosphere, I'm gonna enjoy it.
