Hixon and Ginn have the same number of career TD receptions, despite the reports of only one of them being a real wide receiver.

Also worth mentioning that our #4 WR in 2012 caught seven passes all year.

Are you retarded? Ginn played 13 games last year with a whole...wait for it...2 rec for 1 yard...even when he was the #1 wr for Miami the most yards he ever got was 790. He hasn't got over 220 yards in any season with sf. Hixon was behind Cruz and nicks and still got over 500 yards twice.ginn is a career return guy.

Hixon career as a backup his whole career

In an offense that was running the wildcat half of the time, and a QB with the arm strength of Sally Field, that's actually a pretty good year.

Again, the career numbers of Ginn and Hixon are pretty similar (not including Ginn having the better return career, as well as his 7.8 yard per carry average). They're pretty interchangeable players.

It proves that even though ginn had the 1st 4 years as a #1 wr, hixon as a #3 wr still did better by comparison. Ginn is a Dante Hall/devin Hester player. A career return guy. That's why Carolina brought him in. The panthers haven't had a returner that can break a tackle in forever. (sorry AE14 had 2 plays his whole career and still couldn't score.)Too many project returners that haven't panned out. IDK why people are arguing that hes the 2nd coming of wes welker. If he was that good Miami would have kept him. Hixon is a real Wr that has been stuck behind Nicks and Cruz. Hes shined every time his number has been called on. :kissass:
