So you saw the Wildcats manhandle the Hawks first hand. That was a sad excuse of a game. Iowa would be a much better contest for K-State now...not that the Cats wouldn't win again, but it would at least be a game.

  2. Yeah I sat out in the 120+ degree temperature and that's not even close to the temperature at field level! This is also the game where Coop hurt/tore some of his shoulder muscles and missed quite a few of the following games. Had a blast, but I always thought football was suppose to be a cold weather sport?

BTW, started the season in 120+ degrees and ended it at the Cotton Bowl at 29 degrees and snow on the ground! Also went to a game that season with a fractured tailbone. The 2000 season was DEFINITELY a season to remember!

Yeah guys I grew up in KCK and whent to more Royals and Chiefs games than I can recall. Thats back in the day when the Royals were on top of the world. Anyway am in Carolina now and have been to one to two games a year since year one. Nice to see Rome has so much support in this forum. I am not a huge fan although I listen and watch the last word. His takes are USUALLY solid but I agree his clones that call are out there. Thanks for the good comments.;)
