Why did Quin Snider quit his job all of a sudden? Not getting the job done by Missouri standards? Will Coach K be disappointed in Coach Q?

Yes, I would say K is and has been disappointed in Quin. I would say his father in law, Larry Brown, probably isn't though. Like father-in-law like son-in-law I guess.

I guess when you win the way Larry Brown does it makes it a little easier to take though. Win national championship then take off. Win NBA championship, take off again. The Queen wins 11 out of 22 and he starts to mimic his FIL. Go figure.

and Melvin Watkins set to take over....

"Snyder's program also has been plagued by off-the-court problems that began with the 2003 arrest of point guard Ricky Clemons on domestic assault charges. Clemons subsequently accused a Tigers assistant coach -- who has since resigned -- of paying him cash, charges an NCAA investigation failed to substantiate.

The NCAA did identify a total of 42 violations, from improper meal purchases for amateur coaches to improper contact with recruits by Snyder and two assistants.

Missouri was subsequently placed on three years of probation, lost three scholarships and was barred from off-campus recruiting for one year."

Actually, I was talking about leaving programs on probation. But, whatever floats your boat.
