    Hey Barry, someone I consider to be pretty reliable told me that Plavich was voted a team captain by the players. I'll try to verify tonight.

    I thought the coaches nominated and the players voted. I think that is how it was done under Mullins anyway.

    Regardless, you should not be a captain before ever wearing the uniform.
