I hate Tennessee just as much as the next person, but I would never count out Phillip Fullmer ever. He played two tough teams at home and barely lost, and then handed LSU their only loss of the year. This is not a bad team. Half of the top 6 teams are SEC teams. Obviously they aren't having that bad of a year. Auburn is better than I thought they would. LSU should've lost but Auburn might have the worst kicker in the history of college football.

Dude, just give it a rest. Anyone who actually watches these SEC teams play can see that they're incredibly overrated. Tennessee looks awful, Alabama is apparently still in shock after losing Prothro, Florida has major holes, LSU is far too inconsistent, Auburn hasn't reloaded yet, and Georgia just isn't dominant.

    Don't believe in dumb luck.

It was a great game saving play by boma. Its not the first time this season that's happened in the red zone. Once is chance. Twice is happenstance. Three times is a pattern. That's a legitimately great D.

That said, I think you get waxed by LSU.

no fan of any ACC team needs to be tossing out "the SEC is over rated" junk.

The ACC is majorly overrated. Tech isn't top three - and Miami and FSU don't belong in the top ten.

everybody else is average at best. UNC may be the fifth best team in the league

    how weak is THAT?

Tech isn't a legitimate #3? [Jim Rome]Hilarious.[/Jim Rome] I'm talking about actually watching the games and observing how good the teams are. When you do that, it's clear that no SEC team is worthy of a top 5 spot, and only Georgia would arguably be a top 15 team. Tech, FSU, or Miami would whip the ass of any SEC team this year, Georgia most definitely included. And we might as well note that Georgia Tech beat Auburn (and Clemson's win over Texas A&M is better than any of the SEC's non-conference victories). Oh, and UNC played Wisconsin to a standstill and beat Utah, so they'd probably beat half the SEC teams this season.

    Virginia Tech > Georgia
    Florida State > Alabama
    Miami > LSU
    Boston College > Florida
    Georgia Tech > Auburn
    Virginia > Tennessee
    North Carolina > South Carolina
    Clemson > Vanderbilt
    Maryland > Mississippi
    Wake Forest > Arkansas
    N.C. State > Mississippi State
    Duke < Kentucky

The SEC would still be better than the ACC without the Big East arrivals, but they're here, and with them the ACC walks all over the SEC.

have you actually watched FSU's JV quarterback this season?

    Bama would hold them scoreless

Tech would probably beat UGA with or without out Shockley.

But I'll take bama, UF, LSU (still the team to beat IMO), and even UT against the teams you put them against. Virginia's not that good at all.

And Auburn's QB lost the first game against GT in his first start, and Cox has played much better since. You underrate them.
