VOR move everything into an FDIC insured money market or CD. AT your age you should probably be considering that anyway. OF course the only way to truly counter something like 1929 would be to buy bullion because with a crash like that, FDIC would probably run out of money too.

Alot of costs associated with a money market or CD, though, ie taxes and the negative return due to inflation.

In other mwords, if you buy a cd, you WILL lose money, due to inflation and taxes.

I'd go with a Vanguard Lifestyle conservative Growth Fund, and use the Money Market to keep 1 or 2 yeasr worth of money in.

You might also want to consider a cash value life insurance policy. Their returns are either tax free or tax deferred.

BTW the porn industry is the only industry that consistently makes money on the internet. They are so successful that many Fortune 500 companies have hired people out of that industry as consultants.

That life Insurance company would likely go bankrupt in a 1929 situation.

Looks like bullion is the way to go VOR. I recommend immediately having all your teeth pulled and replaced with gold ones. Then you can be your own ATM when the crash comes. Except instead of an ATM card, you just carry a pair of pliers in your wallet.
