I think he's gonna be the next big key. Sylar may even have to help fight him. It would be the standard comic book deal where the good and bad guys have to team up to eliminate the ultimate threat.

 

Something that hasn't been thought of... a nice twist would be Nathan returning next season. He could've easily flown with Peter into the air, and then let him go and fly away before he exploded.

 

In the Japanese epilogue, wasn't the lone samurai George Takei, Hiro's dad? Sure looked like him.

 

I thought of it. I just didn't tell anyone.

 

That wouldn't have fixed the problem. Once Peter regenerated, he would still eventually go nuclear...just like when Sylar "killed" him with the glass in the back of his head. Once they pulled the glass out, and he revived, he was still a threat to explode.

The only thing they could do was kill him and leave the bullitt in there (although I wonder what would happen when he decomposed and the bullitt fell out...would he then regenerate in his casket?), or take him somewhere (space) that he could explode without hurting anyone and relieve the "nuclear pressure."

 

I've been thinking for a while that he might actually BE the Takezo Kensei guy referenced in the story. The original owner of that sword. I'm betting his power is immortallity or slow aging or something to that effect. Then again, maybe he can also bend time and space like Hiro.

 

Actually since he's like Claire it wouldn't have made a difference. Remember there was one episode where claire got shot and then spit the bullet out her mouth. What I don't get is how the whole deal resolves anything. After Peter explodes, won't it just happen again later??? He still has that power. I'm also curious about Simone's dad when he talked to Peter in the past. At first I thought Peter time traveled like Hiro, but it happened while he was passed. He mentioned something to the effect of question if Simone's father was doing it. Maybe Simone's father can communicate with those in the future.

 

heres what bugged me. How can nathan hold onto peter when he becomes nuclear?

 

He can't.

 

thats what i thought.. i mean when he starts to heat up no one can come close.. yet nathan could grab him and fly away... its little things like that that get me.
