Heroes

Last night's episode was ok, I didn't think it was all that great. I've noticed that you can compare each character on the show to most Marvel or DC heroes.

DL=Shawdow cat
Hiro=Nightcrawler with the ability to time travel
Peter=Rogue
guy running for office - Superman or pretty much any hero that can fly
Niki - The Hulk, different personality wanting to take over, super strength when "Jessica" takes over, i.e, ripping people apart.
Cheerleader - Superman, Wolverine (healing power).
Guy that hears voices and the guy that can enter people's heads both relate a bit to Prof. X.
Kid with ability to fix broken electronics - X-man Forge.
Guy that paints the future - I can't think of who he is modeled after.

That's my take on it anyway. I think that covers all the characters. Hiro is the most entertaining and I think he and Peter have a better understanding of their powers than the rest of cast.

 

I wonder what's up with the double marks on their shoulders.

 

Something that I was thinking about when I was watching: what happens to the Peter character when he is close to more than one other person with powers? Will he absorb them all and become a "super" hero?

 

so I guess Siler (Syler) is the one that killed the waitress - the guy in the restaurant.

I also guess the little kid in the dream, who's picture was in the folder is also Syler. Must have been some kid his Dad was doing experiments on.

I reckon the Dad went to NY to find/stop Syler.

The guy in the restaurant was white and had a beard. The guy that the radioactive guy and Parkman were talking about was a bald black guy, and the kid was an Indian so I wonder what the deal is there. Lots of questions but it was a good episode.

 

The show is getting to bizarre now... too many characters and too many plots going on at the same time.

 

I wish there weren't so many people with powers. I liked when just a couple had powers and there were a few bad guys with powers. There's like 100 people coming out of the woodwork.

 

I've taped but haven't watched the past 3 weeks. Please show some consideration and don't discuss anything that happened in those episodes. I'll let you know when I see them. TIA
