They have no idea whats going on. Our D line is compiled of back ups and walk ons...Mcgill is 80% at best, Baker is playing with an injured ankle. hes throwing the ball where it needs to be, but the recievers cant catch it. Bunting can't catch, block and pass. Excluding the Louisville game, we have improved alot this year. Injuries and the damned dropped balls has killed us. Baker has thrown over 2000 yards, and our defense has improved alot over last year. If we could have caught the ball, we would have beaten MD, Wisconsin, and probably Miami. (Wright dropped a touchdown pass before the half that would have given us a 23-7 lead)

Does he have an injured ankle? I know he has an injured wrist that has bothered him most of the season and limited his play. Anyway, I agree about the drops, but whether it's because of injuries or something else, Baker also appears to have regressed somewhat because he isn't hitting wide open guys anymore.

Bullshit. There were probably only 3 college jobs that Mack would have left UNC for, and he got the call from one of them. Shit happens.

And I am also tired of hearing this, UNC can't be great in football shit. We most defintely can be - as Brown and Dooley proved. Brown got a better job and the alumni ran off Dooley cause he wasn't exciting enough.

UNC can be a consistent top 20 team - they just need the right coach. I'm not saying Bunting is it (although I think he just may be), but it can be done.

I think UNC can hover around the bottom of the top 25, but that's not being a great program. We have too many disadvantages to regularly compete with Miami, Virginia Tech, and Florida State, but we can be as good as anyone else in the ACC. I am anxious to see what Bunting will do with an easier schedule, but I'm worried about breaking in a new QB next season along with three starters on the offensive line and losing some key players on defense.

What advantages does VT have over UNC? If Beamer doesn't ask to think about it for a little while, we aren't having this discussion.

I think that UNC most definitely can compete with Miami & FSU year in, year out. Isn't NC like the 5th best HS recruiting state or something like that?

Anyway - if we get the right coach we can regularly contend for ACC championships, IMO.

It's equally funny funny when UNC like NCSU fans think they are can be a real football power.

For starters, we don't have a basketball program that's worth a shit. So most of our alumni don't have the luxury of laughing/blowing off a mediocre football team/season while waiting for the b-ball team to hit the floor.

It sounds silly, but think about it for a bit.
