Williams has a torn ACL - that's no good.

Henderson has some kinda curvy back thing.

    FWIW....

Yep. I was going to post on this myself.

Henderson had only an average workout, which didn’t help his slide. A solid 25 reps on 225, but a little stiff in drills, didn’t do the 40 yard dash, and didn’t show much leap. But the worst thing is the abnormal spine, which may mitigate his biggest attraction, his size potential. If he gets bigger than he is now, the tightening will just get worse. He’s still a hell of a player when healthy, twice the DT Haynesworth is even when he’s not. I still feel he’s a top 10 player. If we were to trade down and get him, I’d be in heaven.
Williams was overrated to start with IMO.

Johnson of Kentucky will also go back down the rollercoaster ride. Showed up out of shape.

Piper, what is the web site you're getting this info from?

    Henderson

Plus, I read an article on cnnsi, from TFY, and TFY's message board, about all three of these big men.

You'll have to ask meat about the ACL for Williams, I just heard he was heavy.

Thanks. I was mainly looking for a site that listed all the 40 times, number of reps, etc.

Bumber about Johnson, I had high hopes for him...sidenote: If I hadn't flunked out of College Johnson's HC at Kentucky (Mummy) would have been my coach my senior season. Probably would have benched me, anyway?
Back to the topic, Henderson won't slide far, but Bryant has his work cut out for him. This should move him ahead of Henderson unless he has a shitty combine.
Williams might plummet if he can't perform in personal workouts.

    Injuries cause major slides

With such a weird draft (a lot of players at about the same talent level, then a sharp drop off of talent), I wouldn't be too suprised if injured players slide pretty deep into the 2nd round.

Think about this: Peppers - Henderson - Gilbert - Rucker.

Or, perhaps, Peppers - Henderson - Jenkins - Gilbert.

Both scary possibilities, good run stopping, and good QB rushing.

espn is reporting that teams are requesting an MRI to be done on Williams knee, due to looseness. It's not been confirmed that he suffered an ACL tear. He did have to wear a brace after suffering a sprain ealier last year.

Smart move by the teams. He may have a tear. When I had a skiing accident, doctors didn't catch the knee problem. I was able to walk fine, and it got better, but everyonce awile it would twist. I later found out my ACL was torn, so I had surgery.

I doubt Henderson will fall like that. He's not really injured, it's a condition he's always had. He had it in 2001, when he recorded 13 sacks.

It's more like the condition makes him less of a can't miss prospect. His upside is somewhat diminished. So he's back in the pack. I'd still take him over Haynesworth.
