But.....let's not, um, press Hurney on front office issues. Nah, no need.

    Awful.

    Wow. I mean, shit.

Listen, a part of me loves the balls, here. Steel balls.

But why not take the others on? Rivera? Hurney of all people? Richardson?

    I mean...really?

Second year as head coach and already it feels a lot like then end of the Seifert era. I realize it's an organizational wide self destruction, but the top dog in charge is Richardson. Hurney is here because JR put him in his position. JR has hired all the coaches, and while he may not have strong direct control over player production on the field, it still trails back to him.

Hurney is untouchable in Charlotte. Even during 2-14. None of the writers touch him.

I pointed out in another thread that Rivera is actually below Seifert's mark after 19 games. :leaving:

Putting Cam's slow start in perspective: He leads in the NFL in yards-per-attempt by a wide margin.

For those who still think Chud is God. He's a great mind, but perhaps he needs to slow down a little. We've all bitched about how he's running the offense this year, and maybe if he just lets Cam play, without trying to throw so far downfield so often, Cam wouldn't get sacked as much, be holding the ball as much, and maybe we'd pick up a few fucking first downs.

It does worry me that Chud was the shit his first year in Cleveland before it fell apart the next year. Doesn't mean that's on track to happen here, but it's something to think about.

I said that a ways back to a small chorus of shut ups, but yeah. I've thought about that a lot.

DOes it mean anything? No. Is it worrisome? Eh, yes.

We complained about him abandoning the run at times last season too. I also complained about not using more two-back formations. While both of those are valid, he's still a very good OC.
