JD is gone Atlanta did not offer arbitration. The pitching rotation seems to be set, middle relieve and two corner out fielders are the work ahead.

I've had some people to tell me that there may possibly be a 2 part deal in the works that would send Mike Hampton to the Cubs for Sammy Sosa, plus Chicago would be willing to pay off some of Sosa's huge contract. Then, if Big Unit ends up in pinstripes, that the Yanks would be willing to trade Kevin Brown to Atlanta for a prospect. I don't see it happening, but you never know?

Screw Sosa. Who needs an EX slugger who dopes up his corked bat. We need more young guns.

I don't want Sosa. He's a prima donna and probably a steroid user as well. A physical breakdown waiting to happen imo. JD? A Boras client. The Braves are probably better off not having to deal with Boras to resign him. He's had one good year so far and the rest have been marred with injuries. I'd like to have see Jared Wright stay though. I thought Mazzone had worked wonders with him. Now you have to wonder if in Yankeeland he'll regress.
