    I wouldn't say that but for some reason they allow a lot of contact on Hansbrogh. The guy has suffered a concussion, a chipped tooth, and a black eye, this year. He gets mugged but he never complains.

    Tough loss, and UNC needs to be more consistant on D. for sure. Great effort in the 2nd half by Maryland.

    Maryland deserves a lot of credit for they're great play but the refs did let Maryland mug Lawson and steal the ball in that last minute of regulation and then on the next series down they call an offensive foul on Hansbrough and took those 2 points off the board. The replay showed the Maryland player on Tyler's back and the other Maryland player just fell back without contact. But it would all have been meaningless if Carolina had not blew that 16 point lead late in the game. I haven't heard Roy complain about the officials either.

    good call

    maryland played out of their minds. i saw one projection that bolted them from being 17 slots outta the tournament to the last one in, after yesterday. that win was huge for them and they went after it like their lives were on the line. you gotta love effort like that.
