46-16 and Utah rolled up 669 total yards. Wasn't Bunting a defensive coach in the pros??

Here's a great quote from ESPN's take on the game:

"The Utes (6-0) moved the ball at will in the first meeting between the schools, gaining 669 yards of total offense -- the most ever allowed by North Carolina. The previous record was 657 yards by Arizona State last year."

Way to go Bunting. You now own the worst and second worst defensive outing in 120 some years of football history. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he owned 3,4, and 5 as well. Asshole.

My worst fear is the team actually plays just well enough to save his job. I feel bad saying that but this team has just degenerated since he's taken over as coach. I haven't seen much of any improvement in the program since he's taken over. They say he's a great recruiter but if he is he sure isn't getting any results from it. I don't expect the Heels to be a national power in football but I'd like to see them fucking competitive every week. And that ain't happening these past few years...

They looked pretty good against State and Georgia Tech. I hate the Heels but I still can't figure out how they stay so inconsistent.

Bunting for 4 more years.

Durrant killed State. Durrant was the best QB they have faced thus far. He ate them up with passing, and escaping the pocket. We still gave up 500+ yards on defense, we only won b/c we stopped them in the red zone 3 times, and one time on the last play of the game.

We'll see how good State is vs. Miami next week. Maryland doesnt have a QB, = why they kept Maryland to 96 yards total offense. Miami, they do have a QB. Should be interesting to see how they handle Miami.

well going that far on the road to play a #10 team that is trying to score 100 points if they can because they want a BCS bowl, leaving three dope heads at home two that were good defensive players the other the leading receiver - losing your top two running backs during the first quarter to injury and then losing defensive starters during the game to injury and losing a starting guard to injury and a tight end to injury then losing Durant to injury spell disaster for a team that needs every lucky break it can get.

Not that the Heels had a chance any way.

But I guess next week is the week they play good and win and save Bunting's job again.

Oh that's right - they play Miami... :laugh1:

Well the D always sucks, so it depends on the rest of our game being perfect which isn't going to happen. So when the rest of our game is good we win if not then we lose.
