    The first several defensive plays after the TD, the Panthers blitzed. Blitzing isn't 'soft'.

    how many teams would 14 points have beaten this past weekend? defense has been leagues better than we had hoped for. we knew the offense was gonna suck coming into the season. we hoped Foster would be a big plus and he may be soon. also, keep in mind that we shoulda had 17 points in the first half alone if not for Smith misplaying a wide-open TD and our missing a FG. things are not hopeless ... though that could change rapidly with weinke back at the helm. keep the faith. if we can eliminate some mistakes and get a change in luck (it is supposed to even out). we still have a good shot at playoffs.
