Heard promo on WFNZ today about announcement

    Said it would be made at noon, July 12. Anybody have any ideas what it might be? My guess would be a programming change, maybe another local show?

    probably nothing as usual. that show gets worse and worse. WFNZ has gotten worse and worse. The MSP would be decent if it wasnt a commercialfest. 10 minutes of comercials, come back for a minute, another 4 minutes of commercials, then they come back and plug someone live the first minute of a 6 or 7 minute segment

    They were talking about it too on the MSP this morning so I would guess it involves the whole station, not just Primetime.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'll bet you they are bringing back a 3rd local show with the NBA coming back into town. I guess station bigwigs feel that more folks will be listening to the station down the road, so they will have a noon time show again like they did back in the day with THE H TEAM, CZABAN & PENNER, PLAYAZ CLUB, etc. . . . It will probably air from Noon-3. U notice that the announcement will take place on July 12 at Noon, right :) ? :

    Just read in Tampa Bay message board about Sandy Penner moving on to Charlotte.

    And heard Gary Williams make a comment this morning about "Old School" and then making the promo about the upcoming announcement.

    Hmmmmm, Sandy Penner did the 6-8am show on WDAE-620am THE SPORTS ANIMAL . . . Dan Sileo has now taken his place . . . . . . Also, Dan Thomas recently died . . . I wonder what happened :( :( ? ? ? ? I think he also did sports at NBC8 (?) in Tampa Bay . . . Just wondering

    THE BOTTOM LINE: Why would Sandy return to our wonderful 9V sportstalk station :confused: ? ? ? The return of the NBA? It got too hot in Tampa Bay? I wonder if Czaban is coming back also :D :D ? ? ? I heard that him and current WFNZ managment have kissed and made up after he got canned back in the Spring of 1999. IF the band has gotten back together, that would certainly rock :banana: :banana: !!!!!!!
