    I heard Larry Brown quit because he heard K might be up for the Houston job. :)

    Larry Brown hasn't quit... but he's also in consideration for the Houston job... but ATP he's still with Philly

    It doesn't seem like college and pro games mix anymore. And that includes coaches. Granted, it's a completely different world, mixing salary cap and FA and drafting into the system rather than development of players, recruiting, and so on. But the football world has much more college coach success in the pros than does basketball. If I were a coach at the top program in a region, I wouldn't want to even consider leaving...but the ego stroke by being mentioned, coveted, etc would certainly be welcome. And if there were other college coaches worthwhile, they'd get mentioned more. I just can't think of many that are a good pro fit right now.
