Boy Larry you would love that. First you get the #1 recruiting class and then Coach K to the NBA. FSU would be on the verge of owning the ACC.;) :) :D Have a hard time believing that one.

I've heard the rumor too, and it wouldn't surprise me if he has been asked, but K won't leave his cash cow.

Exactly, I can't imagine him taking that big of a risk, the NBA isn't even close to being the same as NCAA. Completely different game and just not sure he could play by those rules.

coah k would be an idiot to leave duke. look at Pitino, he wins every game in college, but sucked in the NBA, its too different of a game.

Also, Coach K is one coach who Tarheel fans and Duke fans would say plays for the love of the game. Money is not his top priority, and he is one of the most respectable coaches and people in one of the most respected programs in the history of college basketball. He'd be crazy to leave. He has a court named after him!

    I wouldn't say that.

He has a court named after him - you mean the one where he loses as many games to UNC as he wins? :D

and good ol' Kasjdfasdjhaskjdhasjkdh has been trying TWENTY THREE years - six of them post Dean Smith and he STILL doesn't have a winning record against UNC. :p:p

maybe it is time to go try the NBA - maybe he can pull a Spurrier and stock his team full of dook players.

:laugher: :laugher: :roflmao: :roflmao:   :lol2:

bullshit... do you know how much money he makes?? he won't even get a big raise if he went to the NBA... if it weren't a higher play level it would be a lateral move fo him... he's one of the highest paid basketball coaches in the NCAA... he was the first coach to sign his TEAM to a shoe contract... and he got the money for that.
