Well, I have to admit I'm already impressed with the build quality. Those familiar with Wegas and HD CRT monitors in general will know how heavy they are, which is the main reason I got such a good deal on it. Well, at 233 lbs I dropped the fucker. As I was going down, I sacrificed myself to try and 'place it' as close to the ground as possible. Once that was done and the other half slid out of the kid helping me move its hands, I fell down two concrete porch stairs and busted my back on an iron table.

I was convinced the tube had shattered, as it landed screen first. Not only did it not shatter, the tv still works perfectly. The casing cracked but I couldn't give a shit about that.

Now I just need someone to help me lift it off my office floor and onto a hopefully sturdy desk.

Main reason I got it is that it's the biggest CRT out there that was mass manufactured, Sony has great picture quality, and CRT handles standard def material better than any plasma or lcd out there. So it's perfect for my older game systems. Once I get a hacked xbox on there, I'll have some great emulation options and a huge fucking screen for it.
