yeah samsung, toshiba, jvc, sharp, LG, etc... there all good, then you get into your Olevia, Vizio, and then some other off brands that come with 90 days instead of 1 yr... but any one of them would be welcome in my home, just depends on where it's going and how much i expect to use it

i've been looking at hhgregg and bestbuy and they're pretty close $, target & walmart are right there with the lessor, but Costco had the best deals I've seen for whatever you decide... their prices are lower or equal too and includes the 2 yr extended warranty

I have a 40 inch Sony Bravia. And just love it. Although it is now over a year old so it is at 64 Hz. But still is a great picture.
I also have a Samsung Bluray DVD player and when watching DVD's that are 1080P without any "upscaling" is fantastic~!
i also have DirecTV and pay for their HD Programming and right now I am watching The Discovery Channel in 1080P HD which is also some great TV viewing.

i bought a 42-inch vizio 120 HZ for $750 with free shipping from sam's. it came with a 1-year warranty and I extended it a year for $30. I dunno, maybe there will be some problems later, but the picture's better than the sony my brother has (granted his is 60 hz).
