    I'mma sure the
    http://www.ufl-football.com/
or cfl will take the NFL talent

and the Arena's can lease sunday's to those leagues fairly easy one would think

I'd also think there should be enough retired NFL salaries out there to buy a new franchise for these leagues

Where is the UFL or the CFL going to get the revenue to do this? Also what networks are going to be willing to cross the NFL and run these games?

they don't have anywhere to get it and no network with that kind of money is going to cross the NFL

Not if they go 2-14. it's real easy to make that trip from Boston to Foxboro when the team is going 16-0 at home over two years. but when the losses start piling up (and they likely will after TB hangs them up), the people of boston will think twice before packing up the car and buying over priced tickets.

that's your opinion and you're entitled to it I just disagree

people don't seem to have trouble going to Orchard park to see the mighty Bills play and other than Jacksonville I don't recall many teams having sell out issues this year.

Pat Kirwan says 18 game schedule would be a logistical mess. I agree, if only for his mustache.

really? because i remember that Tampa didn't sell out a game all year and that includes a home game against Pittsburgh. the raiders have had black outs for several years, including a monday night game this past season. and buffalo? they play a game in Toronto because they can't sell tickets in their own stadium. I remember Jared Allen begging vikings fans to buy tickets last season. Cincinnati had their sellout streak end this season. San Diego has been getting sellout extensions for years and had at least two game blacked out this past year. Kansas City had a blackout this past season...all while winning their division. I haven't even mentioned the Rams or Lions. And it has been reported that owners have been buying up tickets (at 36 cents on the dollar) the last several years to avoid blackouts.

The mustache and the fact unless they make it so you face division rivals 3 times a year it would take away the importance of winning your division. So the only way it makes sense. 9 division games, 4 facing another NFC division 4 facing a AFC division and some random game the league hopes to generate excitement with due to a story line for each franchise like (Colts Vs Giants) or our shitty version (Panthers Vs Broncos) .
