NO trades LT Wayne Gandy to ATL for safety Scott and a draft pick.

This move sets up Brick to NO with the #2 pick

Doesn't mean they take D'Brick. They have Brown, and there are teams who'd like to have the that second pick.

Hate anything that helps Atl, and this does.

It helps both teams. But I am not petrified of either team any more now than I was an hour ago. It is what it is. Falcons got a decent OL, got rid of a turd safety. Saints got an extra draft pick and...well...a turd safety.

It is odd, though. Intradivision trade.

Still leaves the Saints the option to trade down with say the Jets to the 4 spot and STILL get Brick.

Only if New York favors Mario Williams or Cutler more than Ferguson, which I doubt they would.

They could favor Leinert and want to pinch Tenn to it. Otherwise, i dont see it.
