Has the early success made you rethink the final record?

Have two wins over bottom feeders made you revise your predicted final record for the Panthers? I thought a 6-10 season was the best we could hope for. Now some games don't scare me as much. *gulp* is 8-8 a real chance?

    No unfortunately not.

Tampa pretty much handled Baltimore better than we did and Miami did the same with Detroit and I only view those two teams as slightly above middle tier. We won't be the worst again but certainly not as much better as a lot of people are thinking now. I had us ranked as at the top of the lower tier of teams and I think we are still there. I hope I'm wrong.

If we can sneak by until Atlanta, Green Bay being the biggest road block, we would be 6-0.

Morgan knows Vick, Peppers can get to Vick... We have knew head coaches which will hopefully come up with a different game plan against the Falcos...

I'm more impressed with New Orleans at this point than Tampa Bay...

I see 8 wins at least, could get lucky and stumble into 9-10 wins if Foster becomes a stud.

Not really. I had hoped these would be wins.

The way we won gives me hope that we will be much more competitive. Right now I'm just enjoying the win.

If we are competitive the next two weeks, I'm hoping we can be a competitive team through December. If we win one, and then take care of business at home vs. zona, then I'll get excited.

If we win the next 2 - then I will start rethinking the final record. I thought 7-9 or 8-8 would be a great year, but win those 2 and I want to fight NO for this division!!!

    No.

If we win the next 3, then yes. I'll freak.

One thing to think about what the record will be, is injuries. Every team is going to get at least a few. How deep are we? And depending on who gets injured will go a long ways to deciding what our record is as well.

Damn meat. It'll take 5-0 for you to freak? If we are 4-1, I think the whole rest of the entire world will be freakin. Jesus, how much would I love to see us beat Moss and the Vikes. They'd be crying worse than the Lions are now.

I'll stick with my 9-7, although I'm not sure that Peete can keep this up. And if he goes down? You know our division rivals will try to put him in the hospital.

No. If we even get to 500, it`ll be like our super bowl.
Of course our draft picks won`t be as high.

I'll go with my original, 10-6, possible 11-5........

........but I'm holding my breath to see this Defense against a legit Offense. The Vikes ain't great, but they pose a great challenge with Culp, Moss, and Bennett. We will have to answer some scores, but the Panthers are threat on both sides of the ball now.
