Vincent was a starter so I agree with that but I think they will get somebody else for competition. Somebody with some experience. I cringe when I think of counting on rookies on a shuffled line.

Perhaps. But to me, the only thing Sims has over Bridges is that he can play left. Overall, I think JB is a better player.

I feel better with rookies on the lines than I do skill positions, honestly. I dont scare much over putting young guys on the line. I think one of Gross' best seasons was his rookie year. But I understand your point, though.

I agree that it could work, but I don't have faith in us getting lucky considering how are line is almost always average to below average.

In the end, my opinion really isn't affected by the Hartwig move. If Kalil is anything at all Hartwig is expendable with Hangartner here.

I think it would only be one rookie, FWIW.

And likely a high pick, and likely only if they whip ass in camp.

We have the entire line covered by vets. May not be great, but there they are. Only way a rookie starts is if they're an improvement.

that's not the concern, and sure, there's a plan ahead and we don't know it yet.

But, I'm grumbling that the plan could include counting on a guy we know probably won't work out (Hangartner) and one that may or may not work (Wharton inside) to go with an OT that's going to be hit or miss, too.

    Lot of variables there.

    maybe not, sure.
There's that 'bigger picture' thing. But, at a point, determining whether we got better is still useful.
