Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone

Discussion in 'TV & Movie Discussion' started by Savio, May 28, 2002.

  1. I thought they did a wonderful job making the movie as close to the book as you possibly can.

Most of the time I see a movie based on a book I have read, I sit there mad in the threater bc they changed everything around, let stuff out or it just did not happen that way.

Date night wasn't exactly as planned, and we ended up renting some DVD's. I had no plans to get the Harry Potter DVD, but there it was, and suddenly I wanted to see it. It's pretty good. It's a nice little review of the book, and it makes me wish the next book would come out tomorrow.

I have read the 4 books, and thought the movie was really good, very close to the book, and presented it well. I picked up the DVD at compusa for $10.00 last week.

I watched it last night with a pal. What a GREAT movie. Rowlings has an AMAZING vivid imagination. I'm definitely adding it to my DVD collection and buying every book to read. Just AWESOME!!!

The movie is great!! I was so thrilled that they stuck to the book and didn't change everything around. Of course they had to leave some things out bc of the time limit but they did a wonderful job!

I've got all the books that they have printed so far and loved reading them all. They are so good once I start one I have the hardest time putting it down until it's finnished!
