what the hell is the big deal about "pre-ordering"? EVERY store that carries books will be overstocked with the damn things.

Its not like its a limited edition or anything.

I got suckered in to preordering the LOTR DVD last summer. I got it 4 days after they went on sale - and I paid $5 more than I would have if I had just walked into Best Buy and bought it four days earlier.

    Shagging softballs.

I'm paying about $16.00 from BAMM.com for this book, and I don't have to walk my sorry ass to the store to fight the other nuts (like you :) ) who will be in line and in my way.

nah - I'll just walk into Borders a few days later around 10 pm - pick one of the 14,000 copies off the shelf - and buy it at the big promotional discount - might even drink a big ol cup of Starbucks while I sit and read the first chapter.

your problem is you can't unstick yourself from your computer chair in order to put some pants on for the drive to the bookstore.:p

I can't wait for the next Harry Potter to come out, it’s supposed to be even longer than the last... If they can’t even fit the smaller ones into a movie, what are they going to about this and last one? :aplayboy: <- close enough
