SO with that train of thought do you allow your kids to trick or treet on Halloween?

But has he/she read the books? Forget about the hype. What does he think of the book?

I've never read the book or seen any of the movies. I would like to know what you consider Star Wars to be. My understanding, and I could be wrong, was that the fictional Potter "witches" got their power from "nature", not Satan, kind of like the Force in Star Wars. Kind of like those freaky dweebs in Asheville think.

I had a class with some chick who said she was a witch, and she said something like that. I basically made fun of her though, so she tried to hex me. Or something. She said, when the bible was written, witches in some instances just meant people who knew what herbs could cure what ailment, but that in the translation over the years it got mutated.

Hasbeens, do you know? Does the bible look at witcraft as "satanic," or just another pagan religion?

Yes he has read all but "the phoenix" book. He said it is good reading but still childish none the less. All the Harry Potter shit is overated IMO.

The whole fantasy genre is childish, but I don't find anything childish about death. Kids are desensitized when it comes to death.
