    Well, I managed to read about 350 pages last night to finish the book, which was excellent. Rowling has already said she's working on the next one. It will be a long wait.

    While this book answered a lot of questions, there are still some that remain. Y'all can answer them for me if I missed them.

    • What were the circumstances that kept James and Lilly Potter alive after 3 encounters with Voldemort and what happened in the final encounter?
    • Why is Snape so faithful to Dumbeldore?
    • Does Harry have living grandparents?

    I'd love to get an account of how Lupin, the Potters, etc., were recruited to join the Order, and also of what happened in the previous war.

    It will be interesting to note how people will react to the mature themes in the book (no pron, here, mind you). Not until this book did death, treachery, greed, and denial all play such a prominent part of the story. Harry is growing up, and he's beginning to show signs of really not caring to put up with anyone's shit anymore. It's pretty refreshing.

    Refreshing except when it comes to confiding in people who are his adult friends. He still doesn't do that.

    I wouldn't read that series of books nor would I let Joshua read them. Matter of fact I won't let anyone in my house watch the damn movies.
