I hadn't heard that. I guess from a safety point of view (a goal post maybe hitting someone) it's a good idea due to liability. With that frame of mind the Lambeau leap ought to get banned next.

The face paint ban to me is a joke. Who even notices it? John Randle had way more stuff on than Hardy as did former Viking Chris Hovan did as well. Heck the NFL has kicked around the idea of businesses patches/logos on jerseys to raise even more revenue.

 

Now THAT should be banned.

 

I'm fine with the leap. What happens tho if they break the goalposts to the point they can't fix it and the game gets abandoned?


Some of the TD celebrations were starting to get way out of hand as entertaining as they were. Smitty had some great ones without having to pull shit out of his socks or hidden props on the sidelines.

 

The only thing I hate is that you'll never be able to hit a woman again, which I think is wrong, because many of them do deserve it.

 

Yup, no one should be hit who doesn't want to fight, man or woman. But if you're fighting, then you get what you get until you declare that you no longer want to fight.

Some women are innocent victims of violent men. Some women are sociopaths who seem to exist for the sole purpose of bringing out the worst in otherwise decent gentlemen. My hope is that these things are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
