Well, he sounds calm and apparently manager is there also. Not taking sides, but she is yelling and he doesn't sound angry. Certainly could have escalated from there, but if she is indeed standing blocking the doorway, I'd have to wonder how frightened she is, and when did the throwing on the bed etc take place? If he threw her on a gun covered bed I would assume police would have found them. If she had already been assaulted, why be close to a door and stay there instead of run? Don't know, and if he's guilty he should be prosecuted, but this makes it a little hard to see him as a rage filled attacker. Or he's schizo or bipolar and can turn the switch off and on at will.

 

Goodall should give Hardy a medal. Isn't his goal to keep the NFL in the news year round?

 

It sounds like he just used her as a cum dump once or twice and she became bent on them becoming more than fuck buddies. Definitely smacks of "woman scorned" psycho bullshit.

 

The latter wouldn't shock me, but I'm leaning towards her being the aggressor. Someone in his position wouldn't want the cops involved unless he did feel threatened on some level.

But who knows. There's a pause at the beginning, so maybe she called and he took the phone from her to spin the story in his favor. Maybe that's why she's pissed in the background. If he wasn't such a nutjob himself it would be a pretty open/closed situation.

Obviously the physical evidence will decide this. Scratches can be consistent with trying to hold back someone attempting to strike you, but significant bruising would be a lot harder to explain away.

 

She was getting thrown and dragged a lot. Couch/bed, tub. Hardy is a dumbass but I think we knew that.

If Michael Sam wasn't being such an attention grabber this would be big.
