ron artest threw and elbow. it hit harden in the head. artest deserves a suspension. we agree on those facts.

stern bases the length of the suspension based on a number factors. one factor was the history of the participants. another factor was the extent of the injury suffered.

based on everything i've seen, i'm suspicious that okc were sitting harden and playing up the extent of the injury until the length of the suspension was announced.

NONE OF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH RON ARTEST -- it has to do with harden and okc. that's why the thread is titled "harden" and not "artest".

i'm not defending anything about ron artest. if anything, i'm attacking okc and harden. or perhaps just the means by which penalties are assessed.

no, they're not exclusive, but you have them inextricably linked. i haven't once said anything about artest's suspension being too long or that he shouldn't have been suspended or that the elbow was incidental or anything. i have stated it was wrong and that it shouldn't be considered no big deal. and you take that as a defense of artest.

i'm curious, tho, since you insist that even a non-existent defense of somebody equates to ass licking, do you consider yourself to be engage in full on salad tossing of james harden?
