I did give him a double-take when he told me. He did notice the concerned look on my face, and he tried to explain it. You would NOT believe the reason. :laugh1:

Crap I missed it! And I went to a filming of it once in LA.
Joanie lived close to where I used to live in CA. She didn't age very well. Would see her at the county fair from time to time.

 Are you saying, from a movie making expert/authority point of view, that HD was a better-made show than MASH and/or All In The Family? Or, that you just enjoyed HD more than the other two, simply from an entertaining point of view? You know, like 2+2=4 but 2+2=5 is more entertaining.

Was she chasin' the greased pig, or being chased? [I'm laughing with her, not at her, BTW.] chuckle

I'm not saying what the better show is. I'm just disagreeing with Paul that MASH and All in the Family were in FACT better shows. It's an opinionated subject; there are no absolutes.

He wanted to watch NC State play Basketball against UNC. After he told me that I said, "well damn, and you still didn't get to see State play any Basketball."

MASH ws probably the best Vietnam tv show ever made. It dealt with the issues but didn't get too heavy. Trivia question for you: what was the name of the maid on the tv show George Jefferson?
